Guided by science, driven by compassion and a deep sensitivity to cultural humility and social justice

Our history

In late 2018, a diverse group of  professionals came together based on their shared desire to develop a coalition for excellence that could add value to the addiction and behavioral health community. With decades of experience in every aspect of the field, foreign and domestic, the result is a knowledge base that dates to the 1960s. Our focus is based on the recognition that treatment for addiction and behavioral health has not kept pace with advances in medical science. We are advocates for change by providing real time services and guidance to the field.

The Addiction and Behavioral Health Alliance LLC is a grass roots change agent that addresses the challenges presented by addiction and behavioral health while preserving the values and science that have brought us to this juncture. Our focus is on individuals, families and communities affected by addiction and behavioral health challenges as well as on treatment programs that are striving to meet the demands presented by an evolving health care system. In addition, we strive to offer guidance to governmental agencies and payers seeking standards of care to make informed decisions.  Lastly, our intention is to inform institutions and workplaces while addressing the negative impact of stigma.  Our work is guided by science, driven by compassion and a deep sensitivity to cultural humility and social justice.
